Our Garden

Our property is approximately 1 hectare in size and laid out as a spacious garden park. Here you will find several places to sit, barbecue, or simply lie on the grass.

Peace and Relaxation

Enjoy the peace and seclusion of this place. Stroll through the garden, relax on the garden terrace or the patio, or explore the adjacent forest. If the neighbors haven't already eaten it all, you can also buy our honey.

Relaxing Environment

The Mecklenburg Lake District is known for its crystal-clear lakes. Several lakes, ideal for paddling, are located in the immediate vicinity of the manor house. Since motorboats are not permitted here, you can enjoy the peace and beauty of nature undisturbed.

Excursions

Dabelow is within walking distance and offers a variety of events throughout the year, ranging from music concerts in the church, on the village square, or by the lake to art exhibitions in the village's half-timbered church. The nearest district capital is Neustrelitz, which boasts a vibrant cultural program not only in summer. Here you will find a theater, cinemas, and good restaurants.

The towns of Fürstenberg and Lychen are located on the Havel waterways, from which you could, theoretically, paddle all the way to Berlin.

The town of Carwitz in the Uckermark region is highly recommended, where not only the house of Hans Fallada is an attraction.

Should anyone be heading to Berlin : the nearest train station is in Fürstenberg, from which a regional train runs to Berlin Südkreuz every hour. Barring any disruptions with Deutsche Bahn, it takes one hour to reach Berlin Hauptbahnhof (Central Station).

The Dabelow timber-framed church, built in 1855 by court architect Friedrich Wilhelm Buttel, is the venue for many cultural events.

...and of course Rheinsberg and the Großer Stechlin See near Neuglobsow are not far away. It's not just Fontane fans who know how beautiful these places are.
